Jane Ross Tutoring provides on-site workshops for students, offering flexible formats such as during the school day, after-school mini-sessions, and full-day Saturday workshops.

In addition to student workshops, Jane Ross Tutoring offers on-site professional development for teachers, focusing on ACT strategies, assessment techniques, and content familiarity. This training can be customized to meet specific school needs and is often conducted in two sessions: one covering the English and reading sections and another covering the math and science sections. Online professional development for teachers is also available.

On-Site Student Workshop

Jane Ross Tutoring instructors will come to your school to present any of our workshops. We will design a schedule to meet your needs. We use simplified, flat-fee pricing for any size group up to 50 students. Also, we have experience working with large audiences.     Jane Ross Tutoring offers professional development for teachers to emphasize ways that ACT prep can be integrated into regular classroom instruction and assessment. Simple strategies and assessment techniques can be implemented immediately to get students accustomed to the “ACT way” of asking questions.

    First, though, teachers need to familiarize themselves with the format of the ACT and know exactly what the content is. All of this—and much more—is covered in a workshop that can be designed to meet your school's exact needs.
