West Tennessee ACT Prep Teachers Institute

DESCRIPTION

Join ACT prep teachers throughout West Tennessee for this one-day ACT Prep Teacher Institute. With over 45 years in the test prep business, Jane Ross Tutoring has developed proven strategies that can help your students raise their scores! Since we are educators, too, we understand how to design an ACT prep course to maximize your class time. This training is specifically designed for ACT prep teachers to learn how to design and implement this unique course.

Institute topics include:

• Strategies to teach ACT skills at a more in-depth level
• Engaging activities that are better than repeated practice testing
• Tips for assessing students and developing course pacing guides
• A sneak peek at "Higher Scores," our upcoming ACT course curriculum

As a bonus, many of the course materials have been updated to match the new Enhanced ACT.

The institute is from 8:30am–3pm, which includes a break for lunch on your own. All materials will be provided. The institute will be taught in Union University’s newest building, The Ethos Forum.
